Back To LIfe.....

Lama blog ni tak de update.... Everybody been busy... Just for information, SEMSAS Batch 86 just had our Family Day in Uptown BEach Resort, Pangkor (owned by one of our batch, Zuraini). It was a great reunion as usual....

Skylab yg tak pernah menang, tahun ni Juara, mengalah kan rumah2 lain especiall Soyuz.... hahahaha. Macam mana Soyuz leh kalah ni... hmmm, sapa nak jawab?

This year reunion was also our celebration for turning 4o this year... Skylab buat show Poem Reading... It was touchy... the poem called 23-40 and it goes like this:

'23-40' (dah 23 tahun tinggalkan sek and we are now 40 yrs old)

we were teenagers...only yesterday
school was torturous but life was fun
we laughed and played and shared our sorrows
never once knew
how life would be tomorrow

we seized the days
and conquer our fear
"school life is the best years of your life," said one cikgu
"oh, yeah, right!" we thought
and now "how that's so true."
we were crazy back then
and people blame 1969
and yes, Bryan Adams,
"those were indeed the best years of our life..."

23 years have passed
two of us are gone
Atikah and Zaharullail, rest in peace,
Forever and ever, you will be cherished

we woke up this morning
suddenly we're forty
some have made it, some haven't
some are lucky, some aren't
last year we didn't
talk to strangers
and this year we're forty but not that naughty
and YES there are some who are DIRTY

BUT guys...
we sit in groups, we segregate ourselves
we forget our mission
we colour our reunion
at this age do we
want to associate
the colours of our childhood
to our life that remains?

Today is such a glorious day
cos Skylab is finally
on its up, up and away

SKYLAB...perjuanganmu belum selesai
APOLLO and COSMOS...tomorrow never dies
hey SOYUZ, it's true
what goes around comes around
what goes up must come down

life is short
life is brief
we do not know
the next one to leave
so GO TO HELL with all the colours
let's be colour-blind, hey!
for just a day
red, blue
yellow or green
we can do away
together we stand
divided we fall
all for one and one for all
friendship remains
and hopefully will never end
treasure what we have
HAPPY 40TH BIRTHDAY, DEAREST FRIENDS!

It was a touchy Poem....

We have a new President now, Suhaimi Halaluddin (1st time join our family day)
Hope he can bring our Keluarga69 forward....
